Don’t worry kids, No Doubt is still hitting the road in spring 2009 however, Adrian Young recently announced that No Doubt’s untitled album-in-the-works will NOT be released in 2009. While No Doubt members will still record in their mobile studio during the No Doubt tour, nothing new will be hitting radio waves in 2009.

Adrian told MTV, “We’ve been working on a new record off and on now for a bit of time, and we’re going to continue to work on a new record next year,” he said. “We’re going to start touring in the spring of ’09 through the summer, and we’re going to continue to work on music while we’re traveling. [We'll have] a mobile studio on the bus and eventually get to a new No Doubt record.”

And as for their musical style? Adrian dishes that his love lies in reggae, as to whether or not they’re going to limit themselves to reggae remains to be seen – “It seems like we’ve always come from an eclectic background musically. But we seem to always gravitate towards reggae. I can’t say that’s what our record is going to be like, ’cause it’s too early to tell, but what makes us feel really good is reggae music. I can play reggae music to my grave.”

It seems like No Doubt is inching closer and closer to their tour;although winter just began, you should plan your spring accordingly because the No Doubt tour is going to be off the hook! So keep checking back because before you know it No Doubt concert tickets will be sold out!
